inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Investigators from the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit have named a suspect with the initials of AWI in the case of misuse of MinyaKita. In this case, the perpetrator changed the label and measurements of the cooking oil.

The Director of Special Economic Criminal Investigation (Dirtipideksus) of INP, Brigadier General Helfi Assegaf said that the suspect is the owner, branch manager and location manager who cheated on the contents of Minyakita.

"The raw material for the oil is obtained from PT ISJ through a trader with the initials of D in Bekasi at a price of IDR 18,100 per kilo," he said on Tuesday (3/11/2025).

He explained that Minyakita was repackaged from storage drums to bottles or pouch bags, which were listed on the filling machine screen as 820 grams and 760 grams into bottles.

After manual checking by pouring samples from each pouch bag and bottle oil into a literate container, the results showed that the oil contained around 850 ml to 920 ml.

"Where this does not match with what is stated on the label of the 1000 ml Minyakita packaging circulating on the market," he said.

The suspect admitted that he had been running this business since February 2025. Until this case was revealed, the suspect had produced 400-800 bags of Minyakita per day.
