inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Bima Sub-regional Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, West Nusa Tenggara, arrested four individuals suspected of involvement in the illicit trafficking of methamphetamine in their jurisdiction.
"The four suspects were arrested along with several pieces of evidence, including narcotics suspected to be methamphetamine, homemade firearms, live ammunition, and sharp weapons," said Bima Sub-regional Police Narcotics Investigation Unit Head, First Police Inspector M. Fikri Dafa Alfares, in Bima on Saturday (9/19/2026).
He explained that the arrests were made on Friday (9/18/2026) at around 8:00 PM in Tente Village, Woha District.
"We arrested the four individuals after receiving information from the public regarding alleged methamphetamine transactions and distribution within the Woha District," he said.
Following up on this information, the police conducted an investigation and visited the location based on the information received.
Officers then intercepted a silver Suzuki APV carrying the suspected perpetrators. During the search, police found narcotics suspected to be methamphetamine weighing 0.90 grams.
In addition, officers seized a homemade firearm, four live 5.56-caliber bullets, five sharp weapons, three cell phones, a silver Suzuki APV, and IDR 800,000 in cash.
The four suspected perpetrators were identified as SR (39), a resident of Tolouwi Village; AM (26), a resident of Tolouwi Village; HS (39), a resident of SP2 Village, Plampang District, Sumbawa Regency; and FM (29), a resident of Renda Village, Belo District.
Fikri stated that SR was known to have been a repeat offender in a 2014 murder case and was also on the wanted list for aggravated theft.
Based on the initial investigation, SR admitted to possessing narcotics evidence suspected to be methamphetamine, a homemade firearm, and four 5.56-millimeter live ammunition.
"SR admitted to obtaining the narcotics evidence from an individual identified as FD, who is said to be a resident of Sumbawa Regency," he said.
However, efforts to identify FD have yielded no results because SR was reportedly uncooperative and did not know the individual's full address.
Meanwhile, regarding the five sharp weapons seized, the four suspects admitted they belonged to them and were used to commit the crime.
Fikri stated that investigators are still conducting intensive questioning to understand the roles of each suspect and their possible involvement in the illicit drug trafficking network within the Bima Sub-regional Police jurisdiction.
"We are still conducting further investigations and investigating their involvement in the illicit drug trafficking within our jurisdiction," he said.
