Papua - Police have held a humanitarian action in the form of distributing masks to Jayapura residents who carry out their activities outside their homes. This is to break the chain of the corona virus. Jeremias said that this activity was carried out to remind the public if they are active outside the home to always use a mask in accordance with health protocols in preventing the spread of Covid 19 in Papua, especially in Jayapura City. "Apart from distributing masks, we also urge the public to continue to implement the 3M + 1 T health protocol, namely using masks, maintaining distance, washing hands and not crowding," said Jeremias. Meanwhile, Iqbal Al-Qudusy said that this activity is expected to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in Papua, where the number of confirmed cases continues to increase every day. "To the public, to maintain the health protocol recommended by the government," said Iqbal. Meanwhile, the Public Relations Ambassador in his opportunity also appealed to the public to support the government in the Covid-19 vaccination from China, namely the synovac vaccine, the vaccine is safe. It is known that the first vaccination in Papua was carried out on January 12, 2021, then to representatives of the Government, the leadership of the Indonesian National Armed Forces and Police, leaders and medical personnel.
