inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police explained the chronology of the single-vehicle Transjakarta bus accident under the Tanjung Barat Toll Road in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The accident occurred this afternoon at approximately 3:45 PM WIB.

The Director of Traffic for the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Komarudin, stated that based on witness statements, the electric bus with license plate number B 7022 TGX, driven by a driver identified as KM Bua, was traveling south to north on  Pasar Minggu Highway.

"Upon arriving under the JORR Toll Road overpass, it is suspected that he was careless and hit a pole," explained Komarudin on Monday (1/12/2026).

He said that as a result of the incident, a Transjakarta passenger was injured and taken to Pasar Rebo Hospital for treatment.

"The accident was out of control. One person was injured, a Transjakarta passenger," he explained.
