inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police convey that of the results of the investigation into the molestation case at the Kunciran Indah Orphanage, Pinang District, Tangerang City, the number of victims have reached seven.

“As of now, according to the reports from our investigators, the number of the victims reached seven,” says the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi on Monday (10/7/2024).

Ade also adds that the victims consist of three children and four adults. All of them are males.

It was previously reported that police has arrested and identify two suspects of Kunciran Indah Orphanage sexual abuse in Tangerang City.

The incident had gone viral after the arrest of the suspect was uploaded to social media. In the video, people are flocking the scene to see what was going on.

“Two have been identified as suspects and arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of Tangerang City Sub-regional Metro Police,” says Ade.

The two suspects are S (49) who owns the orphanage and YB (30) as the one who manages the orphanage. According to the police, there is still one suspect left who is in pursuit.

For their actions, the suspects who have been secured will be charged with the article on child protection. The threat is a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.
