inp.polri.go.id -  The National Police Headquarters Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) team will be dispatched to investigate PT Kereta Api Indonesia China (KCIC) technical locomotive incident in West Bandung Regency, West Java, Sunday (12/18). The technical locomotive belonging to KCIC had an accident in Cempaka Village, Campakamekar Village, Padalarang District, West Bandung Regency, on Sunday (12/18/22) afternoon at around 17:00 WIB. "Tomorrow, we will conduct an investigation at the locations by deploying a team from the Forensic Laboratory Center from the National Police Headquarters," explained General Criminal Investigation Director, Commissioner K Yani Sudarto at the location, on Sunday (12/18). The accident involved a yellow technical train and a green locomotive of Stecol Corporation (755). The two trains went off-rail for up to 200 meters. Police officials could not confirm the cause and chronology of the accident. Currently, the authorities are still conducting a thorough investigation. Although it was reported that there were casualties, the West Java Police Intermediate Officer could not confirm the number of the victims in the accident.
