inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, confirmed that the incident involving a police patrol vehicle allegedly hitting another car while traveling on the toll road has been resolved.
"It's been handled by the Banten Regional Police Chief (Inspector General Hengki)," explained Agus on Wednesday (1/14/2026).
Regarding the use of strobes and sirens by the police patrol vehicle, Agus stated that the information was incorrect. As previously decided, their use is still suspended pending evaluation.
"There are none," said Inspector General Agus.
The incident involving the police patrol vehicle occurred on the Tomang Toll Road heading towards Tangerang on Tuesday (1/13/2026). The incident was captured in a video that went viral on social media.
