inp.polri.go.id - Central Tapanuli. The Mobile Brigade Corps of the North Sumatra Regional Police, continues to assist communities affected by disasters by providing clean water using water treatment equipment in Sibuluan Nauli Village, Pandan District, Central Tapanuli Regency.

This humanitarian activity was carried out in response to the limited access to clean water experienced by residents following the disaster. The filtered clean water was distributed directly to the community to meet basic daily needs, such as drinking, cooking, bathing, and sanitation.

The Head of the Public Information Unit of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Erdi A. Chaniago, stated that meeting the need for clean water is one of the National Police's priorities in handling the impact of disasters in affected areas.

"Clean water is a vital need for the community. Through this distribution, the National Police strives to help ease the burden on residents and prevent health problems from arising due to limited access to potable water," said Erdi A. Chaniago.

He added that the use of water treatment is a quick solution to process raw water into water that is safe for public use.

In addition to distributing water, Brimob personnel also advised the public to use water wisely and maintain environmental cleanliness for the sake of everyone's health.

Through this activity, the North Sumatra Regional Police reaffirmed its commitment to remain present in the community, supporting the recovery effort, and strengthening the partnership between the police and the community in Central Tapanuli Regency.
