In addition to alerting personnel, the police have also prepared alternative routes, considering that the repair of the hole in the bridge is still taking time.

Head of Traffic Unit of the Probolinggo Sub-regional Police, Police Senior Inspector Safiq Jundhira Zulkarnaen, advised road users, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled, to temporarily use alternative routes.

For alternative routes from the east, road users can pass through Rondokuning village road or via Semampir Market then through to Krejengan District.

Meanwhile, alternative routes from the west, road users can pass through Sebaung or Klaseman village road, Gending District, then will go through to Maron street.

"Therefore, we urge road users to remain careful and remain focused and obey traffic rules for the safety and comfort of all," he said on Monday (4/14/2025).

On this occasion, he added that personnel were also on standby at several alternative route points that had been prepared to be crossed and continued to update and monitor the traffic jam situation.
