inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. The Lampung Regional Police has prepared several parking areas, or buffer zones, along the route to Bakauheni Port as part of a delay system for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr return flow.
The Lampung Police Chief, Inspector General Assegaf stated that this system is designed to control the volume of vehicles heading to Bakauheni, especially during peak traffic volumes.
"We have prepared this delay system to prevent long queues at Bakauheni Port. Vehicles will be directed to the designated parking areas first," said Assegaf, Thursday (3/12/2026).
In this context, people traveling from the Bakaheuni-Terbanggi Besar toll road will be directed to several rest areas that have been prepared as temporary stops.
In addition, Rest Area KM 49 B has been prepared to accommodate approximately 240 vehicles, while Rest Area KM 20 B, located closer to the Bakaheuni area, can also accommodate approximately 240 vehicles.
"With these regulations, we can control vehicle traffic so that queues don't extend beyond the port area," said Assegaf.
He urged people to comply with the instructions of officers in the field and utilize the rest areas and parking areas provided during the 2026 Eid homecoming and return period.
