Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps records there is an increase of traffic flow towards tourist destinations on the first day of this week’s long weekend. However, police stressed that the increase is still within the normal capacity.

“Through our monitoring in train stations, airports, terminals, and toll roads, indeed there is an increase in volume. However it is still within our control,” said the Director of INP Traffic Corps Law Enforcement Director, Brigadier General Slamet Santoso on Thursday (5/9/2024).

According to him, several areas that are the most picked by the people are Puncak, Bogor; Lembang, Bandung; Jogja; Malang Raya, East Java; and Bali.

Slamet assured that police in those mentioned areas have deployed their personnel to the location. Moreover, traffic engineering is also implemented to control the traffic situation.

“And we also have to stay vigilant so that people could enjoy their time comfortably,” said Slamet.
