inp.polri.go.id - Aceh. The Aceh Regional Police deployed hundreds of agricultural tools and machinery (alsintan) for the simultaneous corn planting activities in the third quarter of 2025 as a form of support for President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita program, particularly in the area of national food security.

The agricultural tools deployed included six four-wheeled tractors, 23 hand tractors, 115 corn seeders, 46 water pumps, 56 soil measuring devices, and 46 sprayers.

Aceh Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Achmad Kartiko, stated that the simultaneous planting activities received support from the Palapa KM 66 farmer group, one of 54 farmer groups directly involved in the corn planting.

The corn seed used for this planting was the Maxxi variety, a superior seed from the Aceh Besar Agriculture Service. This seed has also proven to be adaptable to weather conditions and capable of producing optimal yields with uniform growth rates.

Based on field verification results with the Forest Management Unit (KPH), the total area ready for planting is 141.7 hectares. The land comprises 41 hectares of social forestry and 100.7 hectares of non-social forestry.

Further collaboration with relevant ministries and agencies will be encouraged to expand the land, through strategic coordination with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the ATR/BPN, and local governments.

The corn planting will be carried out in stages on 56 plots of land spread across the police precincts and police precincts, with a harvest target of 600 tons.

This corn planting program not only demonstrates police's support for national food security but also serves as a means of developing the community's economy and strengthening security stability in Aceh.

Chief Achmad requested support and guidance from INP Chief and other relevant agencies in addressing structural issues related to land availability, so that Aceh's sustainable development agenda can be achieved equitably and inclusively.
