inp.polri.go.id - Depok. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has given the names of its members to be the bodyguards of the elected president and vice president. The names were submitted directly to the Presidential Palace for further selection.
“Already submitted, the ones who will determine who and who are not the bodyguards are the Palace officials. The instruction for us is to submit the names,” says the Head of INP Public Relations Division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho at Mobil Brigade Corps HQ, Depok, on Monday (10/14/2024).
Explained by Sandi, the criteria for the presidential bodyguard is said to be not so different from the previous Presidential bodyguards.
Sandi points out that the names submitted by the institution are those with the rank at least Senior Superintendent.
“The requirements are the same as before, from the ranks to the education requirements,” says Inspector General Sandi.
