The Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Djoko Poerwanto visits the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum in Patria Tama Hall Sub-regional Police HQ on Friday (2/2/2024). On that occasion, the police chief gave several of his remarks for the Forum, along with cultural and community figures, also the local community to beware of hoax news during these political years. “Do not be easily swayed by the news on social media. If there are photos, videos, or even articles, we have to confirm the news with the related parties. Maintain the situation during the election and beware with hoax news,” says the police chief. Moreover, Djoko says that the visit was to maintain security and conductivity stability ahead of the upcoming voting day. Furthermore, to realize the safe and security situation in Gunung Mas Regency, he asked for the support and collaboration from various social elements from the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum to the general public.
