inp.polri.go.id - Padang Pariaman. The Search and Rescue Agency works together with the locals in constructing temporary bridge in Korong Maranci, Nagari Seulayat, Padang Pariaman Regency.

The construction of the temporary bridge involves 25 Search and Rescue personnel, supported by five personnel of the K9 unit, led by Superintendent Ferry Setiawan.

The bridge was built using locally available materials, including coconut wood and used planks, from the community.

This temporary bridge serves as a connecting route between villages and is only intended for pedestrians and two- and three-wheeled vehicles, due to the limited strength of the structure.

The Head of Public Information of Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division, Superintendent Erdi A. Chaniago says that the police involvement shows concrete dedication in helping the people.

"The collaborative effort to build this temporary bridge demonstrates police's commitment to always being present and assisting the community, especially in emergencies or situations with limited access. Collaboration between personnel and the community is key to accelerating the recovery of community activities," said Erdi.

The presence of this temporary bridge is expected to facilitate the smooth flow of daily activities and improve public safety.
