inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) continues their effort to fulfil the needs of the disaster affected communities in Sumatra, such as by constructing drilled wells in several regions. To this day, drilling wells are planned for 569 locations across three provinces, with 249 locations already completed, consisting of 236 active locations and 13 still under construction.

The Head of Public Information for INP Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, stated that the construction of these drilled wells demonstrates the police's commitment to supporting post-disaster community recovery, particularly regarding the availability of clean water.

"The construction of these drilled wells is part of INP's concrete steps to help disaster-affected communities maintain access to clean water. This effort is being carried out in stages and sustainably," said Trunoyudo.

Trunoyudo emphasized that INP continues to accelerate development in ongoing areas through coordination and synergy with various relevant parties.

"We hope that this drilled well will provide direct benefits to the community and support the post-disaster recovery process," he concluded.
