Chief of National Police Police - General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si, said that two major traffic engineering schemes that are a contraflow and one way, which are only temporary, will be applied along the Trans-Java Toll Highway. According to mediaindopos.com, General Sigit stated on Friday (23/12/22), "We are alert if the density has surpassed 5,000 cars, and if it hits 6,000, we would implement contraflow." Furthermore, if the number of cars on the highway exceeds 7,000, authorities on the highway will instantly implement the one-way scheme. It is reported that Lilin Operation 2022 officially began last Friday (December 22nd) and will run for eleven days till Tuesday, January 2nd 2023. In Lilin Operation 2022, the National Police deployed up to 166,000 joint personnel to safeguard people who intend to celebrate Christmas and New Year 2023.
