President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo, accompanied by a select group, departed Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base for Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, on Wednesday (20/12/23). The journey on presidential aircraft Indonesia-1 began at approximately 7.05 am, as reported by the Press Office of the Presidential Secretariat.
Anticipating his arrival in East Kalimantan, President Jokowi outlined plans to inaugurate multiple infrastructure projects in the Nusantara Capital (IKN), emphasizing collaborative efforts between the government and the private sector.
"Yes, there will be a groundbreaking ceremony for several infrastructure projects by the private sector, institutions, and the government tomorrow morning," stated the President, following the inauguration of the Otista Bridge in Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (19/12/23).
With a focus on business, health, and sports sectors, President Jokowi expressed his enthusiasm for these developments, underscoring the groundbreaking ceremony's role in inspiring swift construction initiation by all stakeholders.
