President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Indonesia after completing a series of overseas engagements, including a visit to the Board of Peace, bilateral meetings with United States President Donald Trump, and meetings with United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ).
According to a release from the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta, the Garuda Indonesia presidential aircraft PK-GIF carrying President Prabowo landed at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, on Friday at approximately 8:00 a.m.
HIs arrival was greeted by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, as well as several high-ranking state officials and leaders of the Indonesian National Military (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (INP).
During his visit to the United States from February 19-21, 2026, President Prabowo attended the inaugural Board of Peace Summit in Washington, D.C. During the meeting, Indonesia affirmed its support for peace in Palestine.
He stated that he had studied President Trump's 20-point initiative in the Board of Peace and believed that peace in Palestine could be achieved.
Afterward, President Prabowo immediately held a bilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump. The two discussed the long-negotiated reciprocal tariff agreement.
Furthermore, on Monday (2/23/2026), President Prabowo witnessed the signing of a framework agreement between the Indonesian Investment Management Agency Danantara (BPI Danantara) and Arm Limited in London, England.
On Wednesday (2/25/2026), President Prabowo arrived at Marka Military Airport in Amman, in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He held a bilateral meeting with King Abdullah II, discussing peace in Palestine, Indonesia's participation in the Board of Peace, and the incidents in the West Bank.
Furthermore, on Thursday (2/26/2026), President Prabowo visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He was welcomed by the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ).
The meeting was part of President Prabowo's working visit to strengthen Indonesia's strategic partnership with the UAE, which has grown rapidly in recent years.
