Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian tennis player Priska Madelyn Nugroho, partnering Japan’s Hiroko Kuwata, finished runner-up in the doubles category of the ITF W100 Incheon in South Korea on Sunday (28/9/2025).
“Grateful for whatever happens. Thank you, God,” he wrote on Instagram after the trophy presentation with Kuwata, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The third-seeded pair fell in the final to second seeds Saki Imamura of Japan and Sohyun Park of South Korea, 3-6, 6-4, 7-10. On their way to the championship match, Priska and Kuwata defeated Korean duo Heerae Im/Dabin Kim in straight sets, battled past Dayeon Baek/Eunhye Lee in three sets, and ousted top seeds Momoko Kobori of Japan and Peangtarn Plipuech of Thailand in the semifinals.
Priska also competed in singles but exited in the first round against qualifier Varvara Panshina. The 22-year-old recently returned from a European tour, where she won the doubles title at ITF W35 Erwitte, Germany.
