Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.Indonesia’s U-17 women’s basketball 3x3 national team won the SEABA U-17 3x3 Cup in Singapore on Sunday after edging Thailand 17-15 in the final.
“Indonesia Raya! Congratulations to our U-17 Women’s 3x3 team for finishing first at the SEABA U-17 3x3 Cup in Singapore. Keep the positive momentum, girls,” the Indonesian Basketball Federation posted on its official page Monday (29/9/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Led by Kayla Imani, Kamila Islami, Joanne Giovanni, and Kadek Winda, Indonesia entered the final after a narrow 18-17 semifinal win against hosts Singapore. The squad went undefeated throughout the two-day competition, collecting victories over Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Thailand in the group stage.
The men’s U-17 team, meanwhile, secured fourth place. After sweeping six group games, they fell to Thailand 18-19 in the semifinals and then lost the third-place playoff against Malaysia 17-21.
The SEABA Cup serves as a key stepping stone for young basketball talent in Southeast Asia.
