Regional Leader Communication Forum (Forkopimda) of Bangkalan Regency and Traffic Directorate of East Java Regional Police Conducted Inspections at Bus Terminal

Forkopimda of Bangkalan Regency, together with the Traffic Directorate of East Java Regional Police carried out checks on bus passengers at the Bangkalan terminal, in order to minimize the spread of COVID-19 from Bangkalan, Madura. Friday (06/11/2021). Together with the Bangkalan Regency government, Indonesia National Armed Forces-Indonesia National Police, the Department of Transportation, health workers, Traffic Directorate of East Java Regional Police, they checked the ] bus passengers at the Bangkalan terminal. Besides checking the passengers, officers also provide advice and educate the passengers to always follow health protocols by implementing 5M, (Wearing masks, Washing hands, Keeping the distance, Avoiding crowds, and Reducing mobility). Director of Traffic Security of East Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Latif Usman said the officers also checked passengers’ COVID-19-free certificates, and provided antigen swabs, to ensure the passengers’ result test was non-reactive. "We give direction and keep emphasizing to the officers at the terminal, to the police and the transportation service and terminal management that they need to check every passenger, especially for Covid-19-free certificate," the Director of Traffic Security of East Java Regional Police said. The officers also have the obligation to remind passengers to wear masks, and provide masks to passengers who do not use masks, as well as provide hand washing facilities and hand sanitizers at the terminal. "Requiring the use of masks, providing hand sanitizers and hand washing facilities at the terminal," Police Grand Commissioner Latif Usman concluded.
