Inp.polri.go.id - Batam. The Riau Islands Regional Police conducted capability enhancement training for Bhabinkamtibmas officers on Wednesday (10/6/202) at the Riau Police Academy. 

“We urge Bhabinkamtibmas officers to strengthen partnerships and communication with communities to maintain security,” said Riau Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Nona Pricilia.

The training aims to equip officers with skills to address evolving challenges and foster trust between police and the public.The program focused on five technical policing functions, including community policing, narcotics prevention, public communication, intelligence gathering, and food security support. 

Bhabinkamtibmas officers are Indonesia’s community police officers, assigned to villages and neighborhoods to maintain public order, prevent crime, and build trust between police and residents.
