Inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. The West Java Regional Police introduced on Tuesday (9/6/2026) nine strategic agricultural innovations to boost local productivity and improve farming welfare in support of the national food security program.
"The West Java Police act as a facilitator connecting various sectors to help farmers maximize production," said the West Java Police Head of the Human Resources Bureau Senior Superintendent Fadly Samad. "When farmers become prosperous and yields rise, our national food security strengthens."
The initiative relies on extensive cross-sector collaborations linking farming groups, state banks, universities, and state forestry firms.
The program assists target corn farmers by offering zero-percent interest capital loans through the Primary Police Cooperative and facilitating land access within state-owned plantations.
Technical upgrades include a solar-powered crop dryer developed alongside the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) and optimized high-yield seeds researched with the Republic of Indonesia National University (UKRI).
