Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia surged to second place in the temporary medal standings of the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand after adding 11 gold medals on Saturday, strengthening its position behind host nation Thailand. 

The update was confirmed in Jakarta on Sunday (13/12/2025) based on data from the Indonesian Olympic Committee, highlighting Indonesia’s strong performance across multiple sports during the regional multi-sport event, as reported by antaranews.com

Indonesia has now collected 31 gold, 46 silver, and 41 bronze medals, edging past Vietnam, which dropped to third place with 30 gold medals. Thailand remains firmly in first place with 92 gold medals, followed by Indonesia in second.

The medal surge came as Indonesian athletes delivered decisive victories in several finals held in Bangkok, reinforcing the country’s momentum heading into the final stages of the Games.
