Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Bali Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) evacuated the body of a female foreigner who died after being swept away by flooding in Tibubeneng Village, Badung Regency, Bali, on Sunday morning (14/12/2025). 

The body was found trapped inside a drainage culvert on Jalan Krisnantara following heavy rainfall that caused water levels to rise rapidly.

Basarnas Bali Chief I Nyoman Sidakarya said the victim’s identity has not yet been confirmed. 

“The victim was found without identification and has been transported to Prof. Ngoerah General Hospital for further handling,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The incident was reported at 8.05 am local time, prompting Basarnas to deploy five rescuers from its Jimbaran office. Evacuation was challenging due to strong currents and water reaching waist height.

The victim was discovered wearing black trousers and no upper clothing. The body was evacuated at 10.30 am.
