Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the alignment between Indonesia’s Vision 2045 and Africa’s Agenda 2063 as key to strengthening collaboration between Indonesia and Africa, especially during the second Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF).

"The shared vision reinforces our commitment to working together for a more inclusive and just future," said Dewi Justicia Meidiawaty, the Director of African Affairs at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Tuesday (27/8/2024).

Vision 2045 aims to transform Indonesia into a developed nation by its centennial anniversary, focusing on human resource development, sustainable economic growth, strong governance, and equitable development. Similarly, Africa’s Agenda 2063, as outlined by the African Union, seeks to transform the continent into a self-reliant and competitive global power, according to antaranews.com.

Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), emphasized that Agenda 2063 is key to making Africa a global economic force by 2063. He noted that the synergy between the two visions will strengthen global cooperation, benefiting both regions.
