Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that six Indonesian citizens evacuated from Iran arrived safely in Jakarta on Saturday (28/6/2025).
"Today, six evacuees from Iran arrived via the Baku–Doha–Bangkok–Jakarta route," said Judha Nugraha, the Director for the Protection of Citizens at the Foreign Ministry, in a written statement, as quoted by antaranews.com.
As of Saturday, the Indonesian government has evacuated a total of 79 people—78 Indonesians and one Iranian national.
Eighteen evacuees remain in Baku, Azerbaijan, and will return in stages on Saturday and Sunday. Five more are scheduled to arrive in Jakarta on Sunday via two separate flights, while the final 13 are expected to land on Monday
The ministry is working closely with Indonesian representatives in all transit countries to ensure a smooth and secure evacuation process, Judha added.
