Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State toll operator Jasa Marga is accelerating recovery efforts on the Jakarta–Tangerang Toll Road after flooding from the overflowing Kali Sabi river disrupted traffic on Saturday (28/6/2025).
“Since 8 pm., lanes 1 through 4 in both directions are passable again, while crews continue working to restore optimal road conditions,” said Ginanjar Bekti R, the Senior Manager at PT Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Flooding began around 3 pm due to heavy rainfall in Tangerang, submerging all lanes at KM 24, including the shoulder, and causing major congestion.
Police temporarily rerouted traffic, allowing vehicles from Jakarta to turn back at KM 19. Entrance closures were also enforced at Kunciran 3 and Karawaci toll gates toward Bitung to ease congestion.
Jasa Marga deployed mobile pumps and continues coordinating with authorities to manage water levels and ensure safety.
Drivers are advised to remain cautious, use alternative routes, and stay updated via official traffic channels.
