inp.polri.go.id – In celebrating the 71st anniversary of the National Police Public Relations, the South Kalimantan Police Chief Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi encourages his Public Relations division to keep increasing the public trust through the dissemination of positive information from institutional activities ranging from services to law enforcement. "In the moment of the 71st Anniversary of the Police Public Relations, I want the ranks of the Public Relations to be the spokesperson to the public that gave the information with a positive vibes to the community," said the South Kalimantan Police Chief, Sunday (10/30) quoted from the Antara. The new South Kalimantan Police Chief said that he wants to see how capable his Public Relations Division is. The South Kalimantan Police Chief said that the Police Public Relations must be able to carry out their functions optimally, both related to multimedia and the ability to analyze every situation that is developing, including information in cyberspace. This is expected to increase public confidence to the Bhayangkara Corps. Then, the two-star general also emphasized the collaboration with media partners of the National Police in disseminating information to the public. According to General Andi, the media has an important role in public interest as well as social control in giving information regarding every policy and programs run by the National Police. "So, we ask for a smooth cooperation with all media partners so that any information can be conveyed properly to the public," said the Kapolda.
