Inp.polri.go.id -  Empat Lawang. South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Andi Rian R. Djajadi directly inspected polling stations during the regency’s repeat election for Regent and Deputy Regent on Saturday (19/4/2025).

Accompanied by local officials and election organizers, the visit began at polling station 6 in Tanjung Kupang and continued to polling station 4 in Mekar Jaya. The inspection demonstrated the police’s commitment to a safe, orderly, and democratic voting process.

“We are on full alert to ensure the repeat election runs peacefully,” said Chief Andi Rian during the site visit.

Top South Sumatra police officials also participated, including Operations Chief Senior Superintendent M. Anis Prasetio, Mobile Brigade Commander Senior Superintendent Susnadi, and Empat Lawang Sib-regional Police Chief Superintendent Abdul Aziz Septiadi.

Police officers were stationed across voting sites to monitor and maintain public order. Authorities reported that the election process remained smooth and secure throughout the day.
