Inp.polri.go.id - Sukabumi. Sukabumi Sub-regional Police Chief Superintendent Samian confirmed on Friday (1/1/2024( the arrest of local content creator Gunawan "Sadbor" for allegedly promoting online gambling sites. 

Gunawan, who rose to fame with his viral slogan "Beras Habis Live Solusinya" (literally, Out of rice? Live is the solution). and has hundreds of thousands of social media followers, was detained at his home in Bojongkembar Village, Cikembar District, on Thursday.

Police took Gunawan in for questioning after he repeatedly mentioned online gambling websites during live broadcasts on his social media channels, receiving donations from the sites in return.

“Gunawan’s involvement with these gambling sites is under investigation, and he remains in custody for questioning by the Crime Investigation Unit,” Chief Samian said, as reported by antaranews.com.

He emphasized that anyone involved in promoting or facilitating online gambling will face strict legal consequences.
