inp.polri.go.id - Surabaya. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo says 164,000 personnel of 2025 Ketupat Operation will be tasked to secure the homecoming and return flow of Eid al-Fitr.
"This operation involves 164,298 joint personnel who will occupy 2,835 posts consisting of 1,738 security posts, 788 service posts, and 309 integrated posts as information and service centers for the public who are working," said the Chief of Police held starting from Surabaya, Thursday (3/20/25).
The hundreds of thousands of personnel consist of the Indonesian National Military (TNI), Indonesian National Police (INP), Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Ministry of Transportation, Scouts, and several stakeholders. The personnel will secure 126,736 security objects such as mosques, Eid prayer locations, tourist attractions, shopping centers, terminals, ports, train stations, and airports.
General Sigit said that they also prepared a hotline service for complaints about the homecoming flow. General Sigit hopes that the 2025 homecoming service will be going smoothly and accordingly.
"We are preparing the 110 hotline service so that people can contact us on anything related to the homecoming service. We also provide a 24-hour service so that we hope that with all this preparations, the 2025 homecoming service can go smoothly and accordingly," explained the Chief of Police.
According to the Chief of Police, the peak of the 2025 homecoming flow itself is predicted to occur on March 28 and the return flow is predicted to occur on April 5.
