inp.polri.go.id – The Director of Law Enforcement of the National Police Traffic Corps, Brigadier General Aan Suhanan and the Director of Registration and Identification of National Police Traffic Corps, Brigadier General Yusri Yunus, did a road show to Riau Islands Province, Monday (7/25).
Brigadier General Aan Suhanan, and Brigadier General Yusri Yunus met with the Governor of Riau Island, Ansar Ahmad to discuss about cooperation in developing Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) and Single Data Regident of motorcycle to improve their service to the community, and give a significant impact in the development of the state.
“The greet from the Governor was amazing. Hopefully ETLE in Riau Islands could be launched in this September,” said Aan Suhanan.
He explained that currently there are three cameras that had been installed in Riau Islands Province. This installation is welcomed by the governor, and hopefully the head of districts and cities would follow suit.
“There are eight Regional Police that haven’t launched ETLE. Hopefully this September ETLE could be launched nationally,” said the Director of Law Enforcement.
He is sure that ETLE could change people’s behaviour in driving, which to comply with the traffic law.
Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary of Riau Islands Province, Adi Prihantara, agrees with what the Governor of Riau Islands and stated that a change is needed in this era of technology advancement, so that we won’t be left behind.
