Jakarta - During 2020, the Directorate of General Crime of the Indonesian National Police has handled 148 cases related to the Crime of Human Trafficking (TPPO). The Indonesian National Police Chief, General Idham Azis, explained that of the 148 cases, 126 cases had been resolved during 2020. Or if the percentage of case completion (selra) is approximately 85 percent. "Regarding human trafficking (TTPO), 126 cases of 148 cases were reported, or up to 85%," said Idham in the 2020 Police year-end release event which was held virtually at the National Police Criminal Investigation Building, South Jakarta, Tuesday (22/12/2020 ). On the other hand, Idham said, in the operational sector, the Indonesian National Police received 238,384 reported crimes. Approximately 173,035 cases have been resolved among them. "The number of crimes reported was 238,384 cases with 173,035 cases resolved (73%), an increase of 2% compared to 2019," said Idham. Meanwhile, in the eradication of street crime, the police completed 3,900 cases of theft and violence from 5,349 cases. Or 73% of the solution.
