Central Kalimantan - After spreading hate speech on social media, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police's Special Criminal Investigation Directorate arrested the perpetrator with the initials FA (30) on Jalan Bukit Tinggi, Beriwit Village, Murung District, Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan, Tuesday (15/12/2020). Not only in photos but in the form of videos and captions containing hate speech," he explained. The young man, he explained, was a citizen who had never socialized the community, but social media was his place to communicate so far. "Evidently, from an FA we have found 35 accounts from a number of cellphones he owns," he explained. For his actions, continued the Director of Special Criminal Investigation, his party would ensnare the perpetrators of article 45 paragraph (2) in conjunction with article 28 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law number 19 of 2016 amendments to Law number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions. "The maximum imprisonment is six years or a maximum fine of Rp. 1 billion," he concluded.
