inp.polri.go.id – The National Police Traffic Corps will present BPJS Health Insurance services in all Driving License Administration Unit as a follow-up to the additional requirements for obtaining a driving license and Vehicle Registration Certificate. The National Police Chief, Inspector General Firman Santyabudi, explained that the presence of BPJS Health services at the Driving License Administration Unit makes it easier for the community in receiving public services. "Today, we and PT Jasa Raharja and colleagues from BPJS Health Insurance, are following up on the President's instructions in making the community more ease in obtaining public services," explained the Chief National Police Traffic Corps in an official statement, Thursday (1 /9/2022). "So starting today, the Driving License Administration Unit or the units that we will develop in the future, will be connected to various services (including BPJS)," he explained further. The BPJS Health regulations are a requirement for driving license and vehicle registration certificate which were signed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo in Presidential Instruction No. 1 of 2022. With this new rule, applicants must be registered with BPJS Health Insurance. On his visit at the Purwakarta Police, the Two Star General immediately checked the BPJS Health services at the Prototype Driving License Administration Unit. He said the presence of the service would be a project for the Traffic Corps with stakeholders in the future. "Today we immediately see how the connectivity between data systems is working together. This will be our future projects so that people everywhere can get public services," he said. Kakorlantas also invites the public to register and activate their BPJS Health Insurance because apart from being able to get additional health services easily, this facility also makes it easier to get other public services.
