Inp.polri.go.id - Papua. Chief of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Budi Gunawan on Tuesday (21/3/23) said that the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) has been a crucial institution to preserve Papua's ethnic languages, develop innovative technologies, and empower the youth in Papua.
"We're optimistic that the PYCH would give rise to globally recognized Papuan talents," he said during the inauguration of the PYCH building..
The PYCH's latest venture is the Papua Pacific Park, which is a project aimed at enhancing its ability to promote creativity and innovation among young Papuans. To safeguard their intellectual property rights, all works and equipment produced by the PYCH's members have been registered under copyright protection by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
Currently, the PYCH has 12,800 members and the number is expected to grow. By empowering young talents and contribute to the region's prosperity, the PYCH plays a critical role in Papua, the Intelligence Chief concluded.
