Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga, S.H., is involved in promoting and encourage the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products of Inspirational Young Papuan (PMI) to the wider market in Manokwari, Thursday (8/11). "Although I am not an expert on this, they still need the support so that our products can grow and be well known to other region," explained the Police Chief when holding a talk show in the lobby of the Regional Police Headquarters, Manokwari. This was conveyed to the young entrepreneurs of Papua, including the representatives of PMI, Meiji Akwam, who owns, Robert Rumsayor the head of the Dua Jaya Abadi joint business group, and Simmy Bonggoibo with his well known soap Sirbeh. To provide his direct support, the Police Chief challenged PMI to be able to meet market needs with a sufficient number of products. "I happened to be the Head of the Food Task Force once, so I know a little about the wider retail market for marketing these MSME products. But once it get well known, PMI had to be able to guarantee the market needs in large quantities," he explained further. He continued that to be able to compete in the national market, apart from sustainable production, the quantity of production must be large and consistent in terms of quality. Even as an initial step, the Regional Police Chief will also coordinate with the Regional Leadership Communication Forum to jointly encourage the MSME products so that they can be used independently by each work unit in West Papua. "You must keep your spirits up and don't give up, we are ready to help you with everything we got," concluded the Two-Star General.
