Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) will deploy around 5,800 officers to secure the 79th Bhayangkara Day ceremony at Jakarta’s National Monument (Monas) on Tuesday.
“There are many points to guard—on roads, tollways, and at the main venue,” said the INP’s Head of Traffic Corps Chief Inspector General. Agus Suryonugroho on Saturday (28/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Security will be heightened as President Prabowo Subianto is expected to attend. A joint operations post will monitor traffic, parking, and field communications. Monas will be divided into security zones: green (central area), yellow (connecting roads), red (toll and city gates), and special (strategic zones like Gelora Bung Karno stadium and SCBD central business district).
Traffic diversions begin at 1 am on Tuesday, and the public is advised to avoid Monas. For updates and alternate routes, citizens can follow @TMCPoldaMetro on social media.
