Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The state budget (APBN) remains stable despite global economic turbulence in the first half of 2025, the Ministry of Finance confirmed on Saturday (28/6/2025).

“Our budget is safe. Based on the trajectory reported through May, it remains under control,” said Febrio Kacaribu, the Director General of Fiscal Strategy and Economics at the Finance Ministry, as quoted by antaranews.com.

He acknowledged pressure on state revenues but noted that government spending has begun ramping up, with the fiscal deficit still within manageable levels. Febrio added that the ministry will present the first semester report to the House of Representatives (DPR) on 8 July 2025.

“As of late May, the trajectory looks solid,” he asserted.

Key global developments include the U.S. imposition of reciprocal tariffs—set to conclude negotiations by 8 July 2025—and the escalating Iran-Israel conflict, which is disrupting global logistics. Despite these dynamics, officials say Indonesia’s fiscal outlook remains in line with projections.
