Inp.polri.go.id - Pemalang. A traffic accident involving two vehicles at KM 315 on the Batang-Pemalang toll road claimed the lives of three tvOne crew members on Thursday morning (31/10/2024).

Pemalang Sub-regional Police Head of Traffic Accident Unit, Second Inspector Widodo Apriyanto, said on Thursday (31/10/2024) that authorities are currently examining the scene and interviewing witnesses to determine the cause of the incident.

“Yes, three fatalities have been confirmed. The victims have been taken to RSI Pemalang Hospital,” he said, as reported by antaranews.com

Initial reports indicated that the accident occurred as the crew’s Avanza car collided with a box truck, while traveling from Jakarta toward Semarang.

Police are continuing their investigation, including questioning the truck driver and toll management.
