Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Due to the fire and explosion at Kodam Jaya Munitions Warehouse in Ciangsana Village, 31 houses suffered its impact.
“Our initial report states there are 31 houses who felt the impact of the explosion, causing their window to shatter, their ceiling cracked, and holes on their roofs," says the acting Regent of Bogor, Asmawa Tosepu after direct review at the location.
Tosepu explains that the government has 14 days to do assessment, from listing the damaged houses, coordinating with related parties, and to determine the next step.
Currently, Tosepu is coordinating with the West Java Regional Government and the Central Government to discuss repairing the damaged houses.
“We will first list the houses and then we will communicate it to the Central Government and West Java Regional Government to talk about the next step of the plan,” said Tosapu.
The same concern was also voiced by the Commander of Indonesian Military Force, General Agus Subiyanto, who said that they will take responsibility for the damaged houses.
“We will list the houses and coordinate with the territorial officials to provide the compensation for the damaged houses,” said Agus.
