inp.polri.go.id -  Police currently is preparing the strategy operations for Christmans and New Year Eve security operations with the codename of Lilin Operations 2022. One of their main focus in that security operations is traffic security. “Lilin Operation is being prepared with the focus of traffic security, island ferry crossing, and comfortability of communities in spending their holiday times and celebrating Christmas and New Year Eve,” says Police Ops Assistant, Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, quoted from antaranews.com, Monday (12/12). He says that Lilin Operation will be employed througout Indonesia for 10 days, starting from D-2 Christmas to D+2 New Year Eve. For the operation itself, they will held coordination meeting to discuss the security operation strategy with the related ministries and institutions this Friday. “This operation is aimed to realize a secure situation, and this requires a cooperation from all parties. This operation itself will be led by the Head of Traffic Corps of the National Police,” he says in his conclusion.
