"The First Lady and I extend our best wishes to every American celebrating Eid al-Fitr," President Trump said on Friday (3/20/2026).

He extended warm greetings to the Muslim community celebrating Eid al-Fitr and wished them many blessings on the day of victory. 

Trump said that Eid al-Fitr, also known as the Feast of Breaking the Fast, has united the Muslim community and the wider community in honoring their spiritual worship at the end of Ramadan.

He added that Eid al-Fitr also serves as a reminder of America's fundamental principle of religious freedom, championed by the U.S. administration.

Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah will be celebrated by Muslims in several countries on Friday, March 20, 2026. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated in various ways, with some Muslims celebrating on Friday, March 20, 2026, and others on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
