inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. During their participation in Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2024 and Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2024, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology continues to show the various best work and potential of vocational education units.

Secretary of the Directorate General of Vocational Education, Saryadi, said that this participation is a manifestation of relevant vocational learning. At the same time, it contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the national industry and economy.

"The products from vocational education units that will be exhibited at the event are superior products from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology program. Among them are Matching Fund and Vocational School ‘Center of Excellence’," he said, Sunday (10/6/2024).

In his statement, he hoped that the event could present the potential of vocational education and become an opportunity for the industrial ecosystem, both locally and globally.

"We want to show that vocational education is ready to meet industrial demand, both in the technology industry and the fashion industry," he explained.

Likewise, the Director of the Business and Industry World Alignment Partnership (Mitras DUDI), Adi Nuryanto said, through these two events, vocational education units can showcase their work, innovations, and products. 

"The participation of vocational education in this event is proof that the work and innovation of vocational education units are worthy of being compared with industrial products. Both for participants, especially for students, this event provides an extraordinary experience," he explained.

This year marks the second time that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology has attended the TEI event, bringing 25 innovative product works from 10 SPVs. Meanwhile, for JMFW, this is the third year for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to participate in this event.

The trade exhibition, which will be held on October 9-12, 2024 at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten, will be attended by leading national companies. This exhibition will also be attended by many prospective buyers from within and outside the country.
