In welcoming the 76th Bhayangkara Day,The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of Gorontalo Police (Polda Gorontalo) held a social service by distributing food packages at the Gorontalo Police Headquarters Field, Monday (20/06). Representing the Gorontalo Police Chief, the Director of Traffic (Dirlantas) of Polda Gorontalo, Commissioner Arief Budiman, S.H., S.I.K., explained that this social service is part of their gratitude in welcoming the 76th anniversary of Bhayangkara and wants to celebrate it by helping the people in need. "We have prepared 3,500 food packages which will be distributed to the orphanages, nursing homes, bentor communities, and for victims of traffic accidents, representatives of religious leaders who really need it," he concluded. In front of the media crew, Dirlantas also said that they did not only distributing food packages, they also held religious social services by cleaning places of worship in Gorontalo Province. “This religious social service activities targeted 70 mosques, 26 churches, two temples, one pagoda, and one temple. In that activity, we cleaned and fixed the place, while also giving the place what it needs," he concluded. He hopes that this social service can ease the burden on the community, who are currently still facing the Covid-19 pandemic.
