West Java Police Chief Participated in Flag Ceremonies to Commemorate the Indonesian Independence Day

inp.polri.go.id - West Java Police Chief, Inspector General Suntana, attended the Flag Ceremony in commemoration of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at Gasibu Field Jl. Diponegoro Bandung. After the ceremony, the West Java Regional Police Chief, along with the West Java Regional Leadership Coordination Forum had the opportunity to witness the performance of the Krida Nusantara Taruna School students and the release of the Bandung VAC (Vespa Antik Club) community in the 2022 Nusantara Carnival. Then he attended the flag ceremony which was led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia from the State Palace virtually. The West Java Regional Police Chief said that in order to value the independence day, the Indonesian government carried the theme "Recover Faster, Rise Stronger." The theme was taken because Indonesia is now recovering from Covid-19 pandemic. The ceremony is also to show respect as well as a moment to remember the services of the national heroes who have fought for Indonesian Independence. "What we have enjoyed now is the result of the struggle of the our National Heroes. Our task as the next generation is to give our best to the state by giving our ideas, improving our capabilities, and doing concrete actions to develop our nation. We have to use this momentum as a reminder to all of us that the struggle has not yet over and must be continued." said the West Java Police Chief.
