inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The police are investigating an attempt to smuggle crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy by a woman with the initials N into Salemba Penitentiary.

The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi says that police will examine everyone involved in the case.

Ade reveals that the woman reasoned with the warden to see his husband at the penitentiary.

“The drugs didn’t magically go there. There is someone who brought them in, smuggled it, and also those who ordered it. We will look into this case thoroughly,” says Ade.

Head of Salemba Penitentiary of Class II A, Beni Hidayat, also confirms that an attempt to smuggle crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy by a woman with the initials N from Batang, Central Java to Salemba Class II A Prison, was successfully thwarted by wardens.

“We found the illicit drugs hidden in her private part. We discovered it after our body scan at the prison. From our weighing, we recorded that the meth was weighing 4.95 grams along with 6 ecstasy pills,” says Beni.
