Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency’s Directorate of General Crimes has launched an investigation into the delivery of a severed pig’s head and dead rats to Tempo Media’s office in Grogol, South Jakarta following the direction of INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Investigators have inspected the crime scene, collected witness statements, and reviewed CCTV footage from Tempo’s security post and surrounding areas.
“The team is analyzing video evidence to identify the suspected perpetrator,” said Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro on Sunday (23/3/2025).
Authorities are assessing potential criminal violations, including intimidation and obstruction of journalistic activities under Article 335 of the Criminal Code and Article 18(1) of Law No. 40/1999 on the Press.
